These daily, week-long writing programmes are designed to build both the physical and the academic foundations children need to become more confident, capable writers.
Across the week, we focus on strengthening children’s hands and improving writing stamina, helping them develop the control and endurance required for longer sentences and pieces of independent work. Alongside this, we explicitly support handwriting legibility and presentation so that children can write more clearly and proudly.
Programmes are tailored by age group:
Ages 5–7 focus on sentence building, early punctuation, handwriting confidence, and vocabulary.
Ages 8–11 develop more sophisticated sentence structures, paragraphing and writing style, preparing children for the expectations of upper primary and beyond.
